I founded JLC GROUP in 2025 after spending over 15 years in the solar industry across the UK and Scandinavia. My journey started in Sweden as a solar panel fitter. Within six months, I was leading my own team. From there, I became a solar trainer, guiding over 50 installers, and later Head of Training and Recruitment, where I rewrote the company’s training program and personally oversaw new employees through a rigorous onboarding process. Eventually, I became an Area Manager before launching my own solar installation company, subcontracting for Sweden’s largest providers and managing projects ranging from new builds to retrofits.

Returning to the UK in 2023, I saw a renewable energy boom similar to the one I’d witnessed in Sweden years earlier. I worked as a Business Development Manager and later as a Sales Manager, gaining insight into how the industry operates and where customer experiences could be improved. I realized there was a better way to manage solar projects — one where customers are truly supported, informed, and never taken advantage of. That’s how JLC GROUP was born.
